▸ Help me find the right woofer for my available airspace
Enter the space you have and we'll match woofers to it. We match against the room a finished box really takes — SoundQubed's published volume plus the woofer, port and bracing.Narrow it down here, then confirm the build in enclosure software.

Net Air vs. Space Needed
Two different measurements — this tool converts between them.
The published number
When a spec sheet says a woofer wants 1.00 ft³, that figure is net air inside the finished box — measured with the woofer, the port and the bracing already taking up their share. It isn't the size of the space in your vehicle.
What gets added back
The woofer — from its cone area and mounting depth. Roughly 0.02 ft³ on a 6.5″, about 0.49 ft³ on an 18″. The port — ported boxes only, about 20% of net air. On most ported builds the port takes up more room than the woofer does. Bracing — about 3%. Nothing this size gets built without it.
Where it's an estimate
The woofer and bracing figures are tight. The port is the loose one — port volume depends on your tuning frequency, and a lower tune means a longer port and less air left over. Across normal tunings the port runs somewhere around 10–35% of net air, and we use the middle of that range. So treat these as a starting point: narrow your choices here, then confirm the final box in enclosure software.

Box Design Software
Once you've narrowed down a woofer, these programs take its Thiele/Small parameters and work out the actual enclosure — including driver displacement, port volume and bracing.
